NHS Patient at KIMS Hospital

Post

This is the first time that I have been believed and my pain has been taken seriously. When you suffer with anxiety, everything is dismissed as "anxiety" My mum had to really push for me to have a laparoscopy. When we went to see a NHS gynae, she dismissed my pain as ordinary period pain. Both G.p. and gynae said that nothing could be done anyway, - apart from.pain meds, but as my mum had been through it herself she knew differently and knew how important it was to get treatment early. Mr Connell was amazing right from the start. He listened and took my pain AND my mood swings seriously. He quickly offered a "plan of action " which I was happy to agree to. Thank you so much for agreeing to do surgery. I'm starting to feel better now, apart from my mood swings. I haven't got the energy to go to the dr yet to ask for the ĤRT but I will soon as I feel like I really need to have them.
